How to Party
Choosing the venue
1
When picking your venue, make sure it has enough space for all the kids to sit down comfortably, and that there is at least one power socket that Silly Sam can use. On outdoor parties - make sure that Silly Sam can be in the shade, and note that some tricks cannot be performed outside for health and safety. Always plan a backup venue indoors in case of the weather.
When booking, make sure to leave at least 30 minutes either end of the party, to set up and pack down all of our equipment.
Setting up
2
Decorating is never essential - we’ve done great parties without any! But if you are decorating, we please ask for no loose balloons or bouncy castles while the show is on, as they are a major distraction for the children. These must be stowed away well before the entertainment starts.
Showtime!
3
When Sam is performing, it’s important there are a few other adults in the room to keep things running smoothly. We ask for 3 grown-ups per 10 kids to keep an eye. And don’t worry, they’ll enjoy the show too!

Silly Sam will then check in with the lead booker and the birthday child before packing up!
Silly Sams usually have lots of parties on showdays, and may need to dash off to the next party right after yours - you’ll be informed when this applies.
